About me

Welcome to Taya's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, which has been established for over 3 years caring for a range of pets. I have been caring for animals all my life and have been looking after other people's pets professionally since 2017. I understand that pets are more than just pets, they are your friend, your comfort and part of your life so I will treat them as you do.

I have completed my City & Guilds level 2 Technical certificate in animal care, where I studied animal welfare, behaviour, exercise and health and working alongside many rescue animals ranging from dogs to meerkats to snakes and even goats! My previous experience includes training and dog behaviour, as well as dog first aid which will help me look after your furry family members as if they are my own. I've previously worked in a dog groomers, dog boarders, on a farmyard and as a dog trainer for assistance dogs so I have learnt a lot along the way and have enjoyed every bit of it!

I am fully insured by protectivity insurance which covers Public Liability, loss of keys and equipment cover and care custody and control (liability to animals).

Your pet is part of your family and can be your 'best friend', and it is important for both owner and pet to be happy. Whether due to busy lifestyle, work commitments, going on holiday or other stays away from home you may not always be able to give your pet the attention you know is required. Which is exactly why I began my pet care business, to do what I love and enjoy the most.
